While my daughter was doing very well for her age when it came to reading and vocabulary, we needed something to help her with her math and numbers. This was a great book in that regard, in that it uses farm animals and other farming concepts to teach kids numbers, counting and other basic math skills. This is accomplished through reading the page, then reinforced through learning exercises disguised as games.
My daughter found the exercises fun, so she was happy with the book. Whereas my wife and I watched as my daughter learned her numbers and counting, and as a bonus some farming vocabulary, so we were happy that it accomplished its purpose.Get more detail about My First LeapPad Book: Tad's Silly Number Farm.
